The IRSG Data workstream was pleased to respond to the UK Government’s consultation on the ‘UK National Data Strategy’. The IRSG support the missions and pillars of the National Data Strategy, and welcomes the opportunity to respond to this consultation. According to a recent House of Lords report1, Financial services, professional services and business services form the largest part of the UK economy, and data drives these sectors. The workstream has laid out its thoughts on how the UK Government can leverage existing strengths to boost the better use of data across businesses, government, civil society and individuals.
