Architecture for Regulating Finance
Building on reports published in 2017 and 2020, The Architecture for regulating finance workstream considers how the UK’s regulatory framework manages the additional scope and powers due to the UK’s exit from the European Union. It considers the roles of firms, regulators and government in the UK’s framework and how it can be refined to ensure the UK system remain one of the most robust in the world. The outputs produced by the workstream are used in extensive engagement with government, parliament and regulators.
